Founded in 2011 by Holger Teske, Gini offers a software solution for extracting information and digitizing documents that converts unstructured data into structured data using OCR and artificial intelligence – in real time and millions of times a day. One of the best-known applications is the “photo transfer”, which can be used to pay invoices without manually entering the recipient’s data. Gini received an initial investment from neosfer in 2014.

While comdirect has been live with Gini since 2015 and has been offering the “photo transfer” solution to end customers since then – which has proven to be extremely popular and has significantly increased user-friendliness – neosfer’s continuous efforts to offer customers the best digital solutions also led to the signing of a contract with Gini with Commerzbank in Q1 2022. Since then, mobile photo transfers have also been available to our customers. This solution allows invoices to be photographed easily and the payment information to be read out automatically, making the payment process noticeably simpler and faster.
