Background

DRIFT process and 100-day-program

In 2016, we expanded our business model to include the prototyping approach and carried out various projects – back then under the team name “Main Funders”. Since then, we have gained important insights into how innovation is created and how it becomes prototypes. We combine these many years of experience in our DRIFT process and the 100-day program in order to get from an idea to a presentable prototype as quickly as possible. This can then be integrated into existing Commerzbank products or expand the existing range (e.g. IMPACT SOLUTIONS). Alternatively, it is also possible to spin off the project (as in the case of Lissi GmbH).

DRIFT & the 100-day-program

Process DRIFT

The aim of DRIFT is to go from a rough idea to a pitch describing the problem, the solution and the business model in four weeks. We also refer to this phase as ideation. At the first meeting, each person with an idea presents their approach based on six specific key questions. The team then selects the best ideas. The providers then have time to prepare a final pitch. This pitch is presented in front of all neosfer employees. In the final step, a jury, which includes neosfer’s management, decides which of the most promising ideas will be included in the 100-day-program.

Process 100-day-program

The 100-day program is divided into two project phases: Problem validation and solution validation. Once the project team has been put together, it is tasked with validating the business model. To this end, the responsible employees initiate an in-depth analysis of the competitive environment and the market situation and conduct surveys with potential customers. This serves to validate initial hypotheses and narrow down the target group. The second phase involves the technical implementation of the project, i.e. the development of an MVP with ongoing validation through customer interviews. At the end, the project team presents the finished prototype to selected people. Together, they decide on its further use.
